Gratitude, Passion, and Joy!
Silk painting opens the door to my soul to express and share a bit of myself. I live in Bozeman, Montana where I have organized the summer Plein Air program for SMArts (Southwest Montana Artists) for the last 5 years. Painting out in nature, I find inspiration magnified through the sounds, sights, and fragrances, carried on the breezes and changing light. Working in these narrow venues: 11" X 60" & 14" X 72" facilitates expressing "A Slice OF Life". I like to tell stories with colors and shapes and feelings. These Paintings are designed to be displayed as fine art and then to be wrapped gently around you to whisper their secrets as they enhance your dressing style.
Sharing this art form with others through workshops doubles it's blessings. Silk is sensual and generous. I am honored to experience the amazement of "non artists" as they find themselves creating their very own masterpieces! A Gift!!
