We are immediately challenged by the changing lights and shadows as the sun journeys across our sky. This can bring an awareness of the reality that we are living on a planet spinning in space, warmed and illuminated by our Sun Star ~ An awesome thought to ponder ~ but now what?? All our senses are awakened, distracted and/or engaged. The sounds and the scents of nature, the feel of the changing winds and temperatures~ all these influences are now woven into these paintings which, I believe, breathes life into them~ Since my medium of choice is fabric ~ Wearable Art~ you get to wrap yourself in this sensual silk infused with these memories! When not being worn, they are displayed as flowing wall hangings. I hold them in place with magnets.
