Let's start our Star Hop from the Big Dipper in the northern sky. The cup of which points to the North Star (Polaris). Now turn and follow the handle's “arc” crossing the skies to the red giant star, Arcturus. Now let your journey take you straight down from Arcturus to the left to another red giant, Antares, the heart star of the Scorpion. Scorpius is a huge constellation, a scorpion, lying on its side with a curled stinger.
     
With practice, this will take only a few thrilling moments of “Looking Up” to discover these astronomical friends. There is something real that happens when we stop for just a moment or so...
